Philadelphia Eagles are wise to ponder Brandon Brooks trade

If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, this one is worth dissecting.

Yes, Philadelphia Eagles fans, as much as some of you will hate hearing this, there’s nothing wrong with at least considering the possible trade of Brandon Brooks and weighing the options. The question is whether or not that would be the most sensible move. The answer to that question is no. Period.

Hold on for a second. We’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s back up for a few ticks. Whether or not Philly should trade Brandon Brooks is one of those things that hits the airwaves and people get very emotional very quickly.

We knew that the Birds were rumored to be shopping Zach Ertz. It’s probably safe to say that trade proposals are probably going to start popping up everywhere about the best tight end in franchise history.  There are other theories that state three-time Pro Bowler Brandon Brooks might also be on Philly’s block. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer spoke on that rather recently.

Considering the circumstances, Philly is, again, wise to ponder the move. Like Dallas, they could benefit in the longterm if they mortgage some of their older talents that can still play. In the end, however, their best move would be keeping this Bird in the nest. Here are two things that Birds fans might want to keep in mind.
