Henry Ruggs III, Raiders, Week 7. 5. player. 28. . .

Don’t overlook the Raiders with the Philadelphia Eagles flying out to Vegas.

Recently, much of the narrative that surrounds Jon Gruden’s Las Vegas Raiders goes something like this. They just don’t play well enough or consistently enough during the second half of the season. If you subscribe to superstition (you shouldn’t, but we all realize that it happens), the Philadelphia Eagles are going to have a problem in Week 7.

Derek Carr isn’t Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes, nor will he ever be. Still, he’s good enough and experienced enough to make life miserable for Philly, especially when the Birds have a tendency to make average quarterbacks look like Joe Montana.

On the outside, he has Henry Ruggs III, and this will be his first tussle with Slay. Ruggs is a speedster with good hands. Big Play as the experience, but regardless of how this one turns out, expect Slay to hang out around the Gatorade cooler during this game and possibly afterward

Oh, and by the way, does anyone else feel like they still want to call this team ‘Oakland’ sometimes? It’s too bad that Nelson Agholor went one and done in Vegas. How much fun would a Nelson Agholor versus the Eagles storyline have been?

No? You don’t think so? Okay, fair enough. Let’s move on.
