Philadelphia Eagles roster notes: Winners, losers from preseason finale
Philadelphia Eagles studs from the preseason finale
Shane Steichen, offensive coordinator
If you’re like some of the Philadelphia Eagles faithful, you were no doubt sick of hearing about how much this team competes at darts and in the lunchroom if they weren’t going to translate that to the playing surface.
Philly opened up the offense to give some of the young guys and hopefuls some valuable opportunities. There were good moments and bad moments, but in the end, we have more good things to discuss about the offense than bad. Give Shane Steichen a gem ball for this one.
Joe Flacco
Three touchdown drives in the first half is all that you need to say. Joe Flacco completed 13 of 16 passes for 188 yards, and he tossed two touchdowns. He was as close to flawless as you can be.
Boston Scott, running back
The Giants Killer adds the Jets defense to the list of casualties he’s left in his wake at MetLife Stadium. Boston Scott may want to build some property around East Rutherford, New Jersey because he owns that field.
