It won’t be long now. Week 7 on the NFL slate promises a game in which the Philadelphia Eagles suit up to play for the first time in the Entertainment Capital of the World. The Las Vegas Raiders are the opponent.

Everyone’s knocking on every wood surface that they can find as, for the most part, this has been a relatively healthy season for the Eagles, especially if you use every season between 2017 and 2020 as measuring sticks.

Lane Johnson announced his return on Tuesday and was back on the practice field for Wednesday’s session. Dallas Goedert was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Friday’s injury report was lengthy but also a reason for optimism as no one was given the dreaded ‘inactive’ designation.

There are a couple of guys who are questionable, however. Guard/center hybrid Jack Anderson didn’t participate in Friday’s practice session. Now, while he isn’t a starter, this is still something to watch.

He’s been dealing with a hamstring issue, and while it’s doubtful that he’ll be available in Week 7. Anthony Harris, as you are well aware, is one of Philadelphia’s starters. The grades on how he’s been performing are mixed, but make no mistake about it. This defense is better with him on the field than they are without him.

He’s had issues with his hands and his groin, and though he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice session, he sat out on Wednesday and Friday. He’ll be someone to monitor as the Philadelphia Eagles approach kickoff.

Trending. Top prop bets to make for Week 7. light

Landon Dickerson (knee), tight end Dallas Goedert (illness), and long snapper Rick Lovato (hamstring) were all limited on Friday and appeared on the injury report, but their absences seem to be precautionary.

Jason Kelce (foot) and right tackle Lane Johnson were both given rest days. Derek Barnett has been dealing with a foot injury, but he was a full participant at practice on Thursday and Friday. For the Las Vegas Raiders, tight end Nick Bowers is the only player who’s expected to sit out of Week 7’s game. No one has been given a designation of being questionable.

The Eagles inactive will be released 90 minutes before kickoff. Bookmark this one, and watch the space below as we will update this post as soon as we get the information.

Update: At about 4:30 p.m. EST, the Raiders have placed Nick Bowers on their injured reserve. They’ve elevated tight end Matt Bushman and linebacker Marquel Lee from the practice squad in subsequent moves.

Update: At 7 p.m EST on Saturday, the Eagles downgraded Anthony Harris to ‘out’.

Update: Just a little under 90 minutes before kickoff, the Raiders release their inactive report, and Darren Waller’s name is, indeed, on the list.

Here’s Philly’s list of inactives as well.
