Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants: Bold predictions for Week 12
Bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense
The Philadelphia Eagles have exploded on offense now that they’ve found their running game. Here’s what we’re expecting from the Eagles when they have the ball.
1. Jalen Hurts runs for 100 yards and scores touchdowns with his legs and his arm.
Jalen Hurts has gotten on a roll. He’s making plays with both his arm and his legs, and there isn’t much that the Giants have done that leads us to believe the narrative will change in Week 12.
QB1 throws for 200 yards in this one. He’ll run for 100 more yards, and just to sweeten the pot, we predict he scores touchdowns as BOTH a runner and a passer. Write it down folks.
2. Two Eagles outrush Saquon Barkley on the ground.
As great as Saquon Barkley is, Father Time is undefeated, and though most of us will never know what it’s like to suit up and play the running back position in an NFL game, from the outside looking in, there doesn’t seem to be a more punishing position in football.
Man Saquon Barkley looks like he got old fast! Perhaps he’s rushed back from injuries too quickly and too many times or maybe all the punishment has added up and taken its toll. Whatever the case, this isn’t the same guy that entered the National Football League as a ‘sure thing’.
In Week 12, we expect him to be outgained on the ground by not one but two Birds: Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders.
