Here’s the Philadelphia Eagles scouting report for Dallas in Week 18

Let’s hope this game doesn’t showcase a repeat performance of what we saw from the Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 3. The first matchup between the Eagles and the Cowboys was an ugly one for our beloved Birds. After a tough four quarters of football to watch, this one mercifully ended with a 41-21 score on Monday Night Football way back in September.

Dak Prescott threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns in that game, but the Cowboys’ rushing attack was also solid in the win.

Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard combined for 155 yards on the ground in that win for Dallas. Elliott also added two rushing touchdowns in that one to help the Cowboy’s cause.

We’ve come a long way since September. Much has changed for both teams. The Eagles’ rushing defense has gotten a lot better, and they’ve found their own offensive identity. The Cowboys seem to have cooled as their talented running back duo isn’t putting up the same numbers they did earlier in the season.

Elliott and Pollard have rushed for a combined 197 yards and two touchdowns during the last two weeks of action. That’s pretty good, but it’s beginning to look like the long season is taking its toll.
