Eagles Game Today: Eagles vs Buccaneers Wild Card Weekend injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, live Stream, TV channel
Ever since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became an NFL franchise in 1974 and played in their first NFL game in 1976, they’ve met the Philadelphia Eagles on the field 20 times for a football game. The series is split right down the middle at ten wins apiece.
Each team has won eight regular-season games. They’ve met four times in the postseason with both of these proud franchises winning twice. Who’s ready for a rubber match two times over?
If you aren’t pumped for this one, there’s an issue. Check your pulse. Let’s talk about some particulars.
Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report vs Buccaneers on Wild Card Weekend
Miles Sanders says he’s back and that he’s ready to go. The Birds also expect to have Jordan Howard. That’s doggone good news for a team that hopes to run the ball control time of possession (hopefully in a lopsided manner like the Bucs displayed in Week 6), and keep Tampa’s offense off of the field.
Philly listed Josh Sweat and guard Nate Herbig as questionable for Sunday’s game. Both missed practice on Friday.
The Bucs announced at about 4 p.m. EST on Saturday that they activated linebacker Lavonte David and running back Giovani Bernard off injured reserve. They also elevated tight end Codey McElroy and running back Kenjon Barner from the practice squad to the active roster.
There’s been no word on Leonard Fournette as his watch continues, but the addition of two tailbacks to their roster could be an indication that he won’t play.
