The Philadelphia Eagles’ march toward Super Bowl glory begins with a battle with a team they’re very familiar with.

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to begin their march toward winning the second Vince Lombardi Trophy in franchise history this Saturday, and they will do so against a familiar foe. The postseason road to Super Bowl LVII begins with a home matchup versus a long-time NFC East rival, the hated New York Giants.

This seems like great news to many Eagles fans, as they were 2-0 versus the Giants during the 2022 regular season. Philly has also won nine straight home matchups with Big Blue. Facing a team for a third time may force Philly to get creative if they’re to advance to the NFC Championship Game.

While we don’t know for sure what head coach Nick Sirianni and the rest of his coaching staff have up their sleeves, it’s fun to speculate, especially seeing as how Sirianni, players both current and former, and history suggests a matchup between these age-old rivals could mean that we may be in store for a game that winds up being an instant postseason classic.

Saturday night’s tilt will be here before you know it. Here are a few predictions on how this one plays out.
