Three hours of football will hopefully award the Philadelphia Eagles their second Vince Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. We’ll tell you what. If that’s how things pan out, they’ll owe their medical staff a debt of gratitude. It’s hard to remember a time when a team this good was this healthy in the hours leading up to a Super Bowl. The Birds essentially have a clean bill of health.

On Friday, the only player whose name we had a question mark next to was Britain Covey. He was dealing with a hamstring issue. On Saturday, punter Arryn Siposs was elevated from the injured reserve back to the active roster. Greg Ward and Anthony Harris were elevated to the 53-man game-day roster in subsequent moves Almost 25 hours later, another shoe dropped.

Britain Covey is active for the Birds as well. We’ve seen the Kansas City Chiefs screw up on special teams from time to time. Would it be strange to pick him as an anytime TD scorer?
