Well, it wouldn’t be a Philadelphia Eagles offseason if we didn’t discuss the NFL Combine and the running back position in some capacity, so here goes. The Birds, if no extensions were handed out to Miles Sanders or Boston Scott, would lose both to free agency. With only six picks in the coming NFL Draft, there are questions about whether or not it’s feasible to select a tailback or address other needs. Philly’s brass, however, is doing its due diligence. Among others, they’ve met with former Alabama Crimson Tide tailback and Bijan Robinson’s backup with the Texas Longhorns, Roschon Johnson.

Tailback prospects were able to showcase their skills at the most recent NFL Scouting Combine. Sure, drills are always interesting.
