The NFL Draft is less than 10 days away and the Eagles have two picks in the first round, No. 10 and No. 30.

The defending NFC Champions are fresh off an NFC Championship in 2022, but do need to plug some holes in the roster after the team lost several key players on the defensive side of the ball. The team has also been connected to offensive linemen and skill position players, meaning that there is a wide array of options on the board this year for the Eagles.

Below, you will find the odds for the No. 10 overall pick, which the Eagles currently have. The team could trade up or down, but we will proceed that the team is in the 10 spot next Thursday. Here are three prospects I believe the team could make an instant impact on the team’s Super Bowl odds:

3 players Eagles should draft to increase Super Bowl odds

  • Peter Skoronski (+175)
  • Jalen Carter (+600)
  • Bijan Robinson (+700)

Peter Skoronski

This is admittedly not the sexy pick that will shift the odds, so I’m kind of going against the instant impact part of this article, but Skoronski is the clear favorite to be selected here as there is a connection between the Eagles and the Northwestern product.

Many envision Skoronski may end up being a guard in the NFL and the Eagles have a future hole opening on the roster with Lane Johnson’s days numbered. Philly loves versatility, and Skoronski is just that. I believe that the odds are shaded towards Skoronski for good reason and he is a great fit and a strong selection at No. 10.

Jalen Carter

Once seen as arguably the best prospect in the draft, Carter has seemingly fell towards the back half of the top 10, opening up the possibility that the Georgia pass rusher could land with the Eagles and the team’s vaunted pass rush.

Carter has off the field issues that may scare off some rebuilding teams at the top of the draft, but the Eagles have a culture in place to bring in the pass rusher and make him a key cog in one of the best defensive lines in the league. Not to mention, the Eagles clearly have a liking for Georgia defensive tackles after selecting Jordan Davis in the first round last year.

Bijan Robinson

This would be a polarizing selection, and I’m not saying I would be in favor of it, but this would shift the odds on Draft night in favor of the Eagles chances of winning the Super Bowl. It’s a buzzy enough word that will send bettors to the sportsbooks.

Robinson is the No. 1 running back prospect available and his floor starts likely at No. 8 to the Atlanta Falcons and runs all the way to the back half of the first round. It’s been tough to trust first round running backs as the building block of your franchise, but considering the Eagles are in the rare spot of a Super Bowl team that is picking inside the top 10, Robinson’s upside may be too good to pass on.

Robinson has the ability to enter the league and be a top five back in Week 1, would the Eagles forego the team’s running back by committee and get a true bell cow?
