The Philadelphia Eagles are back in action for Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, but they'll be missing several starters.

This will be an interesting game with guys like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Jalyx Hunt, and more not playing. They have six players out and five that are listed as questionable on the latest injury report.

With all that in mind, there are plenty of bold predictions for this game that might seem out there but are well within reach for this team. Here are some bold predictions for the Eagles against the Panthers.

Bold predictions for the Eagles-Panthers Week 6 showdown

Eagles rush for over 100 yards against the Panthers

This feels like a minimal, not-so-crazy-bold prediction, but the Eagles just finished a game where they ran for only 22 yards on 18 carries against the Jaguars. Carolina has the second-worst rush defense in the NFL, allowing an average of 156.5 yards per game. Dameon Pierce is good enough to bounce back with an improved offensive line in front of him to put in good production.

Jonathan Greenard finally gets not one, but his first two sacks of the season

Greenard is back, and he's angry about how he started the season with so many injuries. Before leaving the Week 4 Los Angeles Rams game, he showed he can pressure the quarterback with relative ease. Bryce Young has been sacked 10 times in four games, so this feels like a good time for Greenard to get two sacks.

Add a second interception to Quinyon Mitchell's stat line

Mitchell finally got over the hump and got Vic Fangio off his back with his first regular-season interception, despite having four postseason interceptions. Why not add another interception for 2026 against the Panthers? Mitchell has been one of this defense's few bright spots this season and could continue his great season with another pick.

Britain Covey gets his first punt return for a touchdown of the season

Over the first five games of the season, Covey has been close to breaking it loose for a long return for a touchdown. He is second in the NFL among punt returners with at least 10 returns, averaging 12.6 yards per return and a 41-yard return. With the Eagles' offense needing as much help as they do, watch for Covey to score his first punt-return touchdown of the year.

Tanner McKee will throw for at least 250 yards and throw for two touchdowns

This Eagles offense has struggled to get much going this season, but this Panthers' defense just isn't that good. McKee has a chance to prove he can get the job done as a starter, and the best part is that he will have DeVonta Smith on the field. Watch for McKee to put up some impressive numbers, including 250 yards and two touchdowns, to show the Eagles offense can move the ball downfield with him running the show.
