The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, and there's plenty of news to cover about the team.
The injury update on Jalen Hurts has dominated the headlines over the last few days. Philly has also had plenty of other injury news and team developments, making it a rough week.
Here is all the news Eagles fans should know before the Panthers game against the Panthers.
- Jalen Hurts out 'indefinitely' for Eagles with a blood clot

- Michael Robinson's disgusting comments on Jalen Hurts situation
Jalen Hurts out 'indefinitely' for Eagles with a blood clot
The Eagles ruled out Jalen Hurts with a blood clot that started in his calf and has since spread, prompting the team's doctors to start treatment right away. Hurts injured his calf during the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but still played against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 5.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport has repeatedly said Hurts will be out indefinitely with the injury, and that the return timeline is unknown. Doctors who have appeared on radio and television have stated that it could be weeks or months before Hurts returns to the field.
Joe Milton signed off Dallas Cowboys practice squad
In light of the Hurts news, the Eagles moved quickly and brought in Joe Milton from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. For Week 6, Milton will be the third-string quarterback behind McKee and Cole Payton, but should be the backup in the near future.
In five games, he has completed 69.8% of his passes for 424 yards and two touchdowns, with two interceptions. Milton has also rushed for 66 yards on 15 carries and one touchdown.

Philly also has five players who are listed as questionable for the contest:

Will Shipley going on IR after his Week 5 injury
Eagles running back Will Shipley officially went on IR after suffering a foot injury in the Week 5 loss to the Jaguars. Shipley going on IR also paves the way for Milton to be on the 53-man roster.

This season, Shipley rushed for 20 carries for 57 yards and one touchdown, and caught five passes for 31 yards. The Eagles will have to turn to Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele at running back for Week 6, with Barkley, Tank Bigsby, and Shipley now out with injuries.
Michael Robinson's disgusting comments on Jalen Hurts situation
Former Penn State quarterback and Seattle Seahawks player Michael Robinson appeared on NFL Network to comment on the blood clot situation involving Hurts. What he said next was stunning, to say the least.
“If I'm Jalen Hurts − or anybody in Jalen Hurts' camp − I'm saying, 'Well if everybody's hurt, I'm hurt, too.' “To me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season..he's pulling himself out so that this doesn't look like it's on me."

The fact that a human being, someone who has played football, would go on television and say this is appalling. This is now the second time that an Eagles player has gone through a health situation and been questioned about it, with Lane Johnson being the first after his retirement. What in the world is wrong with the media these days?
