The Philadelphia Eagles have finally made it to the preseason, and they have a showdown with a team they are familiar with around this time of the year: the Baltimore Ravens.
Philly has a ton of talent on the roster, and even more position battles to figure out. This will be the first step in answering a lot of those questions against an upcoming Ravens team with plenty of changes.

Eagles defense is going to dominate the Ravens' offense
All training camp, Eagles fans have been hearing how good this defense has played, from the defensive line to the secondary. It's really going to fall on the front seven. Watch for Moro Ojomo, Ty Robinson, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., and Smael Mondon Jr. to have monster days on defense for the Eagles.
Don't expect fireworks from Eagles' offense
It's a brand new scheme under first-time offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. Things won't go smoothly on offense. Quarterback play should be much better than in 2025, but big plays may not happen right away. Maybe later in the game, but if the Eagles score more than 17 points, that should be considered a win.
Darius Cooper is going to make at least one highlight play
Cooper has been a star at training camp for the second straight year, but the buzz around him is much louder than it was in 2025. He should get plenty of playing time in this game, and if he has played as well against the Eagles' starting corners, there has to be at least one spectacular catch he is about to make against Baltimore.
Kelee Ringo is about to get burned big time by Ja'Kobi Lane
Yes, Eagles fans, we are back to the negative narrative that has already been written on this site. Lane is legit a monster and has a shot at being a great NFL wide receiver. Ringo has been a liability in this secondary for years, so yeah, if he goes up against Lane, the Georgia product will get exposed big time.

Winning this game is completely on the table for the Eagles
The depth of this Eagles roster is better than it has been in a long time. It's a major credit to general manager Howie Roseman for the draft picks, signings, and trades he's made over the last few years to build to this moment. Baltimore has a new coaching staff and is still trying to figure things out on the roster, so the Eagles should be favored to win this game and probably will. Probably.
