The Philadelphia Eagles are looking for a bounce-back win after a bad loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but this Week 4 game will be even tougher than their 27-7 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
LA enters the game at 1-2, but that record is misleading because they have lost to the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos, two of the best teams in the NFL. The Eagles suffered their first loss of the season after two close games against the Washington Commanders and Tennessee Titans.
Philly needs this game badly, but it will be without six players, including DeVonta Smith and Zack Baun. While they won't have to deal with Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald, they still have five headaches that can make life tough for the Eagles. Here are those Rams players.
Which Rams are going to be a problem for the Eagles in Week 4?
Puka Nacua, WR
Nacua's injury has kept him out of two games this season, but he is back for the Eagles game, and Philly's defense better be ready. The interesting part is that he'll be on a snap count as he works his way back on the field. Quinyon Mitchell will need to shut Nacua down right away and not give him a moment, or he could be a problem.
Davante Adams, WR
Adams is a legit problem and has been leading the way with Nacua missing time. In three games, Adams has caught 18 passes for 358 yards and two touchdowns. He should be the primary target in the passing game, with Mitchell or Riq Woolen as a secondary option, to keep Adams' momentum going.
Quentin Lake, S
Lake has been a force in the secondary over the first three games of the year, posting seven pass deflections and one interception. He presents a nightmare matchup for the Eagles' tight ends, Zach Ertz and Johnny Mundt, making it harder to throw the ball to them. Philly's offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, may have to get the ball to others with Lake lurking all over the place.
Trent McDuffie, CB
McDuffie is in the same boat as Lake, but he's on the outside, which won't make things easy with Smith not playing. Going into the game, McDuffie has the same stat line as Lake: seven pass deflections and one interception. The likely matchup is McDuffie against Dontayvion Wicks, which won't be easy for the Eagles' passing attack.

Kyren Williams, RB
Eagles' defense performed better at stopping the run against the Bears, but they might have a tougher time with Williams. The Rams back has rushed for 214 yards and one touchdown, averaging a whopping 5.6 yards per carry, while his partner in crime, Blake Corum, has 148 yards and is averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Either guy could make life tough for Philly with Baun out, but Williams is more likely to hit the home-run plays.
