Week 2 is here for the Philadelphia Eagles, and they need many of their players to try to bounce back after opening weekend.
The Eagles pulled off a 24-22 win over the Washington Commanders, but it was not done in style points. Philly's offense managed barely under 320 yards, and the defense nearly folded at the end of the game, so they still have work to do.
A few players on the Eagles roster are probably looking forward to a rebound after not having their best showing last week. Here are the Eagles players to watch out for in the Tennessee Titans showdown in Week 2.
Which Eagles need rebound games in Week 2 against the Titans?
Hollywood Brown, WR
It's hard to bounce back when you don't play, but Brown could use a do-over on his Eagles debut. He has the speed to be the deep threat Jalen Hurts needs, but that all stems from the poor first impression he made in training camp, taking weeks to gel with his quarterback. If Brown gets his shot on the field, he needs to make the most of it.
Tank Bigsby, RB
A similar situation: Bigsby needs more touches since he only got one carry, but unfortunately, he has to explode every time he has the ball. It's the only way he gets on the field more often. That's not right, but that seems to be the situation right now, so when Bigsby's number is called, he needs to fly.
Makai Lemon, WR
Three catches for -5 yards is enough to justify being on this list easily. Lemon wasn't used properly in the offense, but he had chances and didn't make the play when he needed to. The Eagles need a playmaker, and Lemon has the speed and quickness to do it. He needs to show it on the field.
Cam Jurgens, C
It wasn't all bad for Jurgens; he did have to carry the load for a bit with Landon Dickerson playing hurt, but two penalties aren't acceptable for a two-time Pro Bowler. Jurgens has to do a better job of cleaning up the small mistakes and getting things back on track. Eagles fans know how good he can be, but he needs to look more like Jason Kelce when he was center.
Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE
Yes, Smith has four sacks, and that's good, but the Eagles fan base still isn't getting the production they need from their former first-round pick from a few years ago. He's not producing sacks and didn't play the run well against the Commanders, racking up just two tackles. Smith has to figure things out and prove he deserves to start over Jalyx Hunt when Jonathan Greenard returns from injury.

Cooper DeJean, CB
DeJean tried to battle through his calf/abdomen injury in the Commanders game, but it turned into one of the worst performances of his career. He had eight tackles, but allowed seven receptions and a passer rating of 142.1. The hope is that DeJean can bounce back and play like the All-Pro Eagles fans know he can be.
