Well, the Philadelphia Eagles might have already shown they are going to make the A.J. Brown trade happen very quickly, with a new report about a signing coming down the pipeline.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles are going to sign wide receiver Samori Toure at some point on Monday. Toure was previously with the Green Bay Packers when new Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion was an assistant there.

In 23 career games, Toure caught 14 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. He becomes the second former Packers wide receiver to join the team after Dontayvion Wicks was traded to the Eagles before the 2026 NFL Draft.

Eagles will be adding another receiver, meaning A.J. Brown trade is happening fast

The Eagles might have a couple of roster spots open in the next 24 hours, with Brown about to be traded, but defensive lineman Brandon Graham's contract also expires at the June 1 deadline, making him a free agent. Toure will be replacing one of their spots.

This is the second wide receiver the Eagles have added to the roster in the last week, with Brandon Hayes also joining the team last week. Philly is starting to load up at wide receiver to the point where it's easy to see Brown will be gone soon enough.

The Eagles have to wait until 4:01 pm EST to make the trade happen, as that is when the dead cap on Brown can be split into two over the next couple of years, saving $7 million against the cap. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is being proactive about adding a wide receiver, but it is clear that Brown will be moved.
