The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions again. It felt inevitable that this current core of players would get over the hump. That they did it in dominant fashion against a team many crowned as the best in NFL history makes it all the more sweet and legacy-defining for everyone involved.

After carrying the Eagles throughout the playoffs, Saquon Barkley took a backseat while Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown gave the Kansas City Chiefs' defense fits all night through the air.

Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after accounting for nearly 300 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. It was a vintage performance from the Eagles' QB. Brandon Graham gave Hurts the ultimate sendoff message at midfield after the win.

It was only a matter of time until cameras caught up with Brown, who caught a back-breaking TD before halftime to give Philly a 24-0 advantage on the scoreboard.

Brown has obviously taken a ton of criticism for his body language and penchant for sideline outbursts. Eagles fans know the kind of teammate Brown is, though, and he proved that in spades during his postgame chat with The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

AJ Brown squashes bad teammate narrative with legendary reaction to Eagles' Super Bowl win

"We can't rewrite history but we can make it even."

Hang that quote in the louvre. Anyone else have goosebumps?

Brown's entire soundbite was chill-inducing. He made sure to give Patrick Mahomes credit while praising the Eagles defense, which may or may not have just capped the best performance by a defense in Super Bowl history. While the Chiefs put up 22 points, they didn't score their first touchdown until the final minute of the third quarter when the Eagles led 34-0.

That transitioned to Brown being rendered speechless by Hurts' performance. Eagles fans can certainly relate to that. No. 11 dropped two "Unbelievable's" for good measure.

While Brown caught a touchdown, he only caught three passes for 43 yards. He tied for the team lead with five targets, but teammate DeVonta Smith paced the Eagles with four catches for 69 yards and a score.

In the past, we have seen Brown express frustration even during wins if his workload didn't meet expectations. That was never an indictment on Brown as a teammate, though. It was a testament to his status as an ultimate competitor and a supreme athlete. You want your best players to have that mindset.

It was bogus that Brown was dragged through the mud for showing emotion. He was full of emotion after the win and it was truly a sight to behold.

Maybe he should do it more often.
