Wow! We still can't believe it! The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl LIX champions! Every time we think it has set in, we realize we haven't even begun to take time to bask in what of the greatest seasons in this franchise's history.
Three NFL Championships (1948, '49, and '60)... Two Super Bowl wins (LII and LIX). This one was truly special. Revenge was sweet! The Birds ended the Kansas City Chiefs' reign of terror!
Now, as the buzz settles some, we continue to think like champions think... It's time to win another one, but our squad will be doing so as the defending and reigning Super Bowl champions!
The NFL released a clip showcasing its top ten plays of the 2024-25 season, and Eagles fans are going to be thrilled when they see which one topped their ranking.
Saquon Barkley... He'll forever be one of the faces of the Philadelphia Eagles' 2024-25 Super Bowl-winning season. Sure, he began his career as a member of the hated New York Giants, but after one season, he's officially one of ours. He's already a shoo-in for the Eagles Hall of Fame.
His first run with the Birds was MVP-worthy. 345 carries during the regular season... 2,005 yards rushing... He's the ninth member of pro football's famed 2,000-yard club along with O.J. Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, Jamal Lewis, Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, and Derrick Henry.
He owns the record for total rushing yards during a regular and postseason stretch (2,504). He scored 18 rushing TDs during 20 in-game appearances and another pair of TDs as a receiver.
He's the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year and th true MVP in the hearts of Birds fans everywhere. He's also the owner of the NFL's top play of the season.

We hate to end this by being petty, but we'll do so anyway. How was this not named the 'Moment of the Year' at the NFL Honors? Oh well... Such is life...
It's still hard to believe sometimes. Saquon Barkley is a freaking Philadelphia Eagle! What do you think? Is he the best free-agent pickup in Eagles history? He certainly has an argument, doesn't he?
