Word travels fast when you hang out in midnight and kelly green-tinged circles. Saquon Barkley's dive into history wasn't a surprise to anyone. We figured he'd hit the bullseye after the first three-quarters of the Philadelphia Eagles season had wrapped. Shockwaves traveled through social media once he joined the 2,000-yard club as its ninth member.

Here are the eight guys who reached the 2k plateau before Saquon did so in 2024: O.J. Simpson (1973), Eric Dickerson (1984), Barry Sanders (1997), Terrell Davis (1998), Jamal Lewis (2003), Chris Johnson (2009), Adrian Peterson (2012), and Derrick Henry (2020).

What does a man do to celebrate? It's simple. He takes a trip to the trademark office.

Eagles star Saquon Barkley has filed two trademarks, 2K SA and 2KSA.

The next time you utter the words '2K SA', make sure you put some respect on Saquon Barkley's name. Trademark attorney Josh Gerben is also the founder of Gerben IP. He has registered over 7,500 trademarks for clients. He registered two recently for Mr. Barkley.

T-shirts? Hats? A little bit of both? Oh, you can best believe the merchandise is on the way. Sign us up, but Saquon isn't waiting to make a fashion statement. He was one of the expected healthy scratches from the Eagles vs. Giants regular-season finale, but as he has done all season, he spent his day giving credit for his accomplishments to his teammates.

Seriously... How can we get one of these TDs?

By earning a Pro Bowl nod and leading the NFL in rushing yards, Saquon also cashes in on $750,000 in bonuses. He'll gain more opportunities to cash in on additional financial incentives once the playoffs begin for the Birds in the Wild Card Round.
