That stinging feeling of losing Jaelan Phillips in free agency is still felt by Philadelphia Eagles fans, as they have yet to find his replacement.
The Eagles have added edge rushers in free agency with Arnold Ebiketie and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, but those guys aren't enough. They need a difference-maker either via trade or the 2026 NFL Draft, with the team showing they are weighing their options.
Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk confirmed with reporters that he had a 30-visit with the Eagles, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Devin Jackson. Faulk told reporters that the Eagles have "really good people" based on what he saw during his visit.
Eagles have 30-visit with Keldric Faulk before the NFL Draft
Last year with the Tigers, Faulk was a third-team All-SEC selection, finishing the season with 29 tackles, four pass deflections, and two sacks. He made the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2023 after 36 tackles, one pass deflection, and one sack that year.
It might be a bit of a challenge for the Eagles to go select Faulk, as he is expected to be selected somewhere in the top 20 of the draft. That would leave the Eagles with the option to potentially trade up to acquire him.
Most draft experts have had the Eagles taking an offensive lineman in the first round to find the successor to right tackle Lane Johnson. Getting an edge rusher is not out of the question, as the Eagles are known for going after offensive and defensive linemen early in drafts.

Faulk has great speed off the edge, and while he may not get the sack numbers, he can get pressure on the quarterback consistently. Sounds like someone Eagles fans know well who just left the team in free agency this offseason.
