Bold predictions for the Eagles offense that don't include Saquon Barkley

It's Week 12 in the NFL's landscape. We've learned so much already. Who would have thought after the Philadelphia Eagles got off to a 2-2 start that we'd be as energized as we are right now?

Sure, some of what went sideways is very easy to explain. Officiating has been awful. Philly walked into Tampa with several important players missing. The game vs. the Atlanta Falcons sadly got away from them.

What do you want us to say? It happens. It's the NFL. every team tells this story sometimes.

So, here we are, waiting to play the Los Angeles Rams on the road in one of the NFL's coolest and most beautiful stadiums. We're pretty pumped for this one.

Philly is favored. We think they'll win. Here's how we see things playing out.

Jalen Hurts throws for 300 yards. Dallas Goedert tops 100 receiving yards and scores a touchdown.

When this story was first written, we were certain that DeVonta Smith would ignore the limitations of his hamstring, play this game, and enjoy a breakout performance while doing so.

As it turns out, DeVonta is mortal. That's okay. Philly has enough stars to pull this one out.

One of those stars is Dallas Goedert, and we like his chances of being showcased. Figure 100 yards receiving and his second TD reception of the season in this one.

Thank the Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown effect for a big game by Philly's tight end here. The Rams' defense will focus more on stopping Brown and 'Saquads'. That will provide more opportunities for Number 88 and help QB1 Jalen Hurts exceed 300 yards passing.

Kenneth Gainwell scores his 1st rushing TD of the season.

Philly likes using Kenneth Gainwell during two-minute drives and when Philly is in the red zone. We have seen him make some impressive runs. He just hasn't been able to cross the goal line.

That changes in this one. This feels like the week. Kenny G scores his first TD of the season.

We have nothing statistical to prove this. We haven't seen much that has moved us. Call this a hunch, one we share confidently.

The Eagles stack 400 yards on offense.

A high-powered offense... The league's top defense... Officially... Both are part of the Sunday Night Football showcase. Slow starts have plagued Philly. They've also enjoyed some offensive outbursts. Here they put it all together.

We've often wondered what might happen if we see what we have often seen during the third quarter extrapolated over four.

400 yards of offense by the Birds. That's our story. We're sticking to it. We could all use some stress-free football.
