In a quest to put his nagging injury woes in the rearview mirror, Philadelphia Eagles two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens recently set out for Medellin, Colombia, for stem cell treatment and a "health reset" week.
This past season, along with guard Landon Dickerson, Jurgens paid a costly price for the duo's spirited push in the previous year's Super Bowl run. With both of the interior line standouts battling through injuries in 2024 to gut it out and suit up in Super Bowl LIX, the cost in 2025 was steep for each, as both Dickerson and Jurgen's performances took a noticeable hit.
Now with a full offseason to get things right on the health front, Jurgens is brimming with optimism. In his post on Instagram, he shared what's taking place on his trip to Medellin, Colombia:
"We got 70 million stem cells here about to go in, go Birds, let's go," Jurgens said. "I'm excited to get healthy and get ready for this next season, so that's why I'm down here."

Shared during his visit to the Wake BioHotel in Medellin, Colombia, the video posted by Jurgens provided an inside look at the treatment he received, including a blend of ozone therapy, cryotherapy, and traditional physical therapy.
"I'm excited for the healing, and getting better, but just the experience down here has been incredible," Jergens remarked.
With manning the pivot for such an accomplished offensive line unit, a clean bill of health for Jurgens is paramount to the unit's success moving forward. Along with Dickerson, last season proved to be touch-and-go for the talented duo, while the additional injury struggles of Lane Johnson left 3/5 of the unit up front plagued by serious injuries.

And while neither Dickerson nor Johnson has confirmed they will 100% return for next season, there remains hope the group up front will remain intact for another run. This update by Jurgens is certainly a step in the right direction, too.
