I heard a story once though I don't remember where I heard it. I believe Ashton Kutcher was telling said story. It was probably featured in an NFL Films production. It had nothing to do with the Philadelphia Eagles. If memory serves, he was reminiscing about a conversation he had with a friend who was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.
Kutcher, a Chicago Bears fan, said he and the Cowboys fan spent years debating the greatest running back of all time. Was it Emmett Smith or Walter Payton? No one needs to be told who the Cowboys fan pitched his vote for, do we?
To make long stories short, Kutcher and his friend crossed paths with Emmett and asked him who they greatest running back of all time was. Smith's reply? Walter Payton...
What does that have to do with the Eagles, Saquon Barkley, or Chris Jones you ask? Buckle up. We're more than happy t answer that question.
It's always fun to hear how NFL stars grade one another, so you're going to love what Chris Jones said about Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts.
There's an old saying, something to the effect of the following. One's opinion is only as valuable as their particular knowledge of a subject.
Who better to ask about players than coaches, teammates, and opponents. Some of you call Eric Allen overrated and question whether or not he has a Pro Football Hall of Fame argument. We challenge you to listen to what other HOFers have had to say about him.
To many NFL stars, validation from a peer or legend means everything. One can only imagine what it's like to hear Aaron Donald compare Jalen Carter to himself, to land on the Top 100 players ranking because of votes from your peers, or what it's like to be complimented by another future Pro Football Hall of Famer like Chris Jones.
The latter showed Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts some love ahead of Super Bowl LIX. He was asked about what his thoughts were when Saquon landed with the Eagles and whether or not Jalen is an elite talent at the quarterback position.
“Oh s**t…we are in trouble. The league is in trouble.” #Chiefs Chris Jones with a genuine reaction when the #Eagles signed Saquon Barkley.

We mentioned that one's opinion is only as valuable as their knowledge of a particular subject. Chris Jones is a three-time Super Bowl champion, a three-time First-Team All-Pro, a three-time Second-Team All-Pro, and a six-time Pro Bowl nod.
One could venture to say he knows a great deal about the game and how its supposed to be played. If he's willing to make these types of statements, who are we to disagree?
