In a contract year, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has certainly stepped up, and for fantasy football owners, he may have saved their season as well.
After another top-five performance for tight ends in week eight, and coming off the bye, ESPN believes that Goedert is a clever play for fantasy football going into Week 10 vs the Green Bay Packers.
"Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has only 39 targets, but he has still scored at least 10 fantasy points in six of seven games, including three games with 17 or more, thanks in part to his league-leading seven touchdowns as a TE. He has a favorable matchup this week against a defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position. "
Goedert appears to be great option in fantasy vs. Packers
Goedert is currently ranked between TE4 and TE7 among many fantasy football PPR leagues. He's been possibly the Eagles' most consistent pass-catching option (and quietest on social media), recording 30 receptions on 39 targets for 289 yards and seven touchdowns, en route to a possible Pro Bowl nod (especially with Tucker Kraft done for the season).
The Green Bay defense also hasn't done a great job in containing tight ends this year. Zach Ertz (Commanders) in Week 2 put together a six receptions for 64 yards game (one touchdown), Sam LaPorta recorded six receptions for 79 yards, David Njoku, and Harrold Fannin recorded eight receptions for 65 yards (combined), Jake Ferguson recorded seven receptions for 40 yards (one touchdown), Tanner Hudson, Noah Fant, and Drew Sample (Bengals) recorded nine receptions for 35 yards (one touchdown), and Tre McBride recorded 10 receptions for 74 yards (two touchdowns).

With Goedert being a magnet for the end zone, along with the Packers giving up a minimum of 13 fantasy points (PPR) to tight ends in six of eight games, it seems that continuing to ride the hot hand of Goedert in your fantasy league isn't a bad move this week.
