With Week 9 nearly complete, the Philadelphia Eagles are ending their bye week and entering the new week being the underdogs.
According to DraftKings, their opponents for Week 10, the Green Bay Packers, are -2.5 favorites over the Eagles in their upcoming game. The over/under for the game's total points is set at 45.5.
Eagles and Packers' journeys to their Week 10 showdown
Green Bay has had an unusual, yet successful, season so far, as they are a half-game behind the Eagles for first place in the NFC at 5-2-1. The Packers have oddly lost to the Cleveland Browns and recently the Carolina Panthers. They also tied with the Eagles' biggest rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
As for the Eagles, they have certainly gone through their own dramas and issues within the team, but have held strong. After starting 4-2 and riding a two-game losing streak, the Eagles have gotten things back on track with two consecutive wins over the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants.
This might end up being one of the best games of the season on the schedule, as the NFC will feature a clash between the top two teams battling it out. It's also a critical one for both teams as the Packers are in a tight race for the NFC North, while the Eagles have a shot at making the NFC East title out of reach for the other three teams.
The last time these two teams played each other, the Eagles took care of business 22-10 over the Packers in the NFC Wild Card game last year to jumpstart their Super Bowl title run. Philly has won four of the last five matchups against the Packers.
