Who knew that one household appliance could get someone so excited and have a player go the extra mile to talk about it?

During the mini-bye week after their tough 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith decided to purchase his home: a juicer. Smith shared with reporters how it has been working out for him so far.

"So you know what’s interesting? I bought me a juicer. And I’ve been squeezing oranges, apples, and pineapples for the past four days. And let me tell you something: It’s amazing. The best orange and apple juice I’ve ever had is when I squeeze my own. So that’s what I’ve been doing since the Black Friday game. Squeezing fruit."

Could the juicer be the key to Eagles and Smith bouncing back?

It has been a rough two weeks for the Eagles, who have dealt with two straight losses to the Dallas Cowboys and the Bears. The team is looking for any edge it can get, and Smith hopes to have the key in his new juicer.

Smith has had a quiet last three weeks, catching 12 passes for 145 yards combined. A lot of that has been the offense's struggles and missed opportunities, including Smith having a potential touchdown on the Bears if Jalen Hurts hadn't thrown it behind him.

Philly is coming off a game where the offense struggled with just 317 yards, and Hurts had two second-half turnovers against the Bears. With the offensive line banged up and Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo continuing to struggle as the play caller, this has been a new low for the offense.

The Eagles are gunning to get a win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14. If Smith has a breakout game, fans will know what the cause of it was.
