Dez Bryant's comments about Eagles will send Cowboys fans into meltdown

Dez Bryant will forever be linked to the Dallas Cowboys, which means Philadelphia Eagles fans don't have to like the player. But Bryant, the person, is not happy currently with how his former team is going about its business. On the Eagles, though, Bryant has an entirely different (and logical) view.

The good news for Philly fans is twofold, based on what Bryant said on social media this week. He implied the Cowboys have no idea what they are doing, and the wide receiver has more respect for the Eagles (and, yes, the Washington Commanders, too).

Of course, everyone might be wondering what is going on in Dallas. The team should be cash-rich, but they spend their money in weird ways. They overpay for quarterback Dak Prescott, but don't commit to edge rusher Micah Parsons long term (yet). At least we know that as long as Jerry Jones owns the Cowboys, they will likely find a way to mess things up.

Dez Bryant and Eagles fans can happily agree for once

Bryant questioned the Cowboys' organization's will to win, not the players on the team, mind you, but the front office. The receiver appears completely confused about why Dallas continues to make bone-headed decisions. Again, that is only something Philly fans can laugh along with.

By the way, in a quite concise tweet, Bryant even sided with the Eagles in terms of the drive by some teams to have the tush push banned. He believes a decision that goes against what the Eagles successfully do would be "insane."

He is correct, of course. Many are trying to argue that the Philly push causes injuries when there is no evidence to support that. Other teams cannot stop the play, nor can they replicate the success that the Eagles have. That is just some of the league trying to punish Philadelphia for being good.

What is clear is that the Eagles are by far the better-run organization compared to the Cowboys. Philly won the Super Bowl last year and will be a favorite again this year and next year, too. Meanwhile, until Jerry and Stephen Jones leave Dallas (and let's hope that is not soon), the Cowboys will keep doing laughable things that hold them down.

Bryant seemingly agrees. He wrote, "I'm not the biggest Philadelphia Eagles fan, but trying to ban the tush push is insane. On another note, I'm not speaking for clicks, but I respect how the Commanders and Eagles continue to show they want to win. (Which i hate)The Cowboys have all the leverage to build a supreme football team, like what's really going on?"

For once, Eagles fans and Dez Bryant can agree. The Cowboys stink, and the Eagles are great. The world is just as it should be.
