Over the years, there has been a lot of debate about who the best quarterbacks in the Philadelphia Eagles franchise history are.
Current Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has put himself in the conversation after being the only quarterback in franchise history with two Super Bowl appearances, and is one of two to win a Super Bowl with Nick Foles. There have been other names on there, but one that is pretty consistently on the list is former starter Donovan McNabb.
That debate took an interesting turn when McNabb was asked by Sports Illustrated to name his Mount Rushmore of Eagles quarterbacks. He included himself, Hurts, Randall Cunningham, and Ron Jaworski on there.
Did Donovan McNabb get it right with Mount Rushmore of Eagles QBs?
After what Hurts has done over the last six years with the franchise, he feels like a sure-fire selection to be on there. Everyone can feel however they want about him as a passer, but Hurts is one of the winningest quarterbacks in franchise history and might end up in NFL history at the rate he is going.
Cunningham is another one who should be on there because of how he revolutionized the quarterback position with his athleticism. He was selected for four Pro Bowls and one All-Pro in his 16-season NFL career.
Jaws and McNabb feel like they should be on the list because they led the Eagles to their first two Super Bowls ever, though the Eagles lost both. McNabb arguably put up better numbers than Jaws, but both failed to capture that Super Bowl title.
Other names that might be brought up are Foles since he won the franchise their first Super Bowl ever. Another name that could be included is Norm Van Brocklin even though he played three seasons with the team, he was selected to the Pro Bowl all three seasons and was a first-team All-Pro in 1960 when Philly won the Super Bowl and he retired from football.

It feels as though the list is pretty clear, but fans will have their own interpretations of who should be the Mount Rushmore of Eagles quarterbacks.
