It's not every day that the Philadelphia Eagles get some love on a song, but one of their players got his name mentioned.
Rapper Drake released his new album "Iceman" along with two other albums, with Eagles fans paying a bit more attention to a new song called "Make Them Pay." That's because Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts was mentioned in the song, as Drake referenced him.
“Industry is really evil, and I’ll face the way they paint me but it Hurts just like the Philly Eagles.”

That title, "Make Them Pay," could not be more fitting for Hurts. How often have Eagles fans watched him make teams pay for counting him out throughout his six years in the NFL?
This offseason has been filled with everyone once again doubting Hurts and calling the 2026 season a make-or-break year for him. Those same people have completely ignored the fact that he's won over 68% of his games, been to three Pro Bowls, appeared in two Super Bowls, won one of them, and won Super Bowl MVP.
Year in and year out, everyone continues to doubt Hurts' ability to play the quarterback position, and he continues to defy the odds with his play. The 2026 season appears to be the same thing for him as he will have to get the job done and prove to the rest of the NFL and the fan base that he is still one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

It appears that Drake understands what Hurts is going through and has cleverly woven it into their new song. This is one reference that Eagles fans can get behind, as those three words on the title are what they want Hurts to do in 2026.
