Eagles continue their Bulldogs connection as they are now hiring Georgia's coaches

Philly is now hiring Georgia's coaches. You know what? This may actually be some sort of farm system.

Here's some honesty. Sometimes, we think the Philadelphia Eagles-Georgia Bulldogs thing is overstated. After all, it isn't like the Birds don't stock their cupboard with players from Alabama.

DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Cameron Latu, Eli Ricks, Tyler Steen, and Byron Young all cut their teeth collegiately in Tuscaloosa. How come we never refer to them as the 'Philly Tide'?

Oh well, it isn't that big of a deal we guess. We're just passing some time, and it isn't like we're complaining. We love our Philly Dawgs, but did you hear? Our Birds are interested in hiring one of their assistant coaches now.

You know what? Forget what we said. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Per report, Philly is adding to its coaching staff.

Eagles are expected to hire UGA assistant QB coach Montgomery VanGorder.

Well, one thing is certain. We never have to question Philly's desire to meet its offensive needs. Per Matt Zenitz, they are plucking more talent from UGA. This time, the talent comes from the sideline.

Montgomery VanGorder joins recently promoted OC Kevin Patullo and new QB coach Scot Loeffler. They'll look to continue the excellence we've seen from the Eagles offense as of late. One thing is certain. They certainly aren't short on weapons.
