One thing was visibly clear to all Philadelphia Eagles fans after watching their team take a 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 11: A.J. Brown was getting fed the ball more often than ever.
Brown finished the game with 11 targets, catching seven passes for 49 yards in the win. The media asked Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo whether the offense was being called to give Brown more targets, and Patullo gave an interesting answer.
“It was really no different; the plan was pretty much similar to how it was every other game with him. The ball found him a little bit more, which was great, and he made some critical plays when we needed it. He made some really tough catches in traffic, and that’s where he’s awesome. He did a really good job in that standpoint.”

Not one Eagles fan is buying that explanation from Patullo
After all the drama leading up to the Lions game, it was clear what the Eagles were trying to do with Brown. The star receiver went on a Twitch stream to complain about the team, calling the Eagles a "s-show" and telling his fantasy football owners to drop him.
Patullo has done this consistently throughout the season. Every time Brown complains about not getting the ball or not being productive on the offense, he overcompensates and calls for more plays in his direction. He did it after the cryptic tweet sent right after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, and apparently, he will continue to do so.
It's almost like Patullo has forgotten what works best for the Eagles' offense. Look at what happened in the Minnesota Vikings and the second New York Giants game when the ball wasn't being force-fed to Brown. The Eagles didn't even have Brown for that Giants game, and those two games were the best offensive outputs of the season.

Eagles fans aren't stupid. They know football. All they want is a good offense, and the failures of that are falling squarely on Patullo right now.
