The final injury report for Week 12 is out, and Philadelphia Eagles fans are still feeling a bit uneasy about what the status of center Cam Jurgens is going to be.
Philly did confirm that starting right tackle Lane Johnson will miss his first game of the 2025 season with the foot injury he suffered against the Detroit Lions in Week 11. Early reports indicate that Johnson is expected to be out for about 4 to 6 weeks. Fred Johnson will be filling in at right tackle for the time being.
As for Jurgens, the good news is that he was a full participant in practice, but is still listed as questionable for the Week 12 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys. Jurgens suffered a concussion in the Lions game as well, being replaced by Brett Toth, who also filled in for Jurgens while he missed two games with a knee injury.
More good news on the report: edge rusher Jaelan Phillips was a full participant in practice despite his shoulder injury and is expected to be good to go, as he did not have an injury designation. Offensive linemen Myles Hinton (back) and Willie Lampkin (knee/ankle) were also full participants in practice and listed as questionable, as both are still on IR with their 21-day windows recently being opened.
Despite the Jurgens mystery, things are looking good for the Eagles
It certainly feels as though Jurgens will be stepping on the field for the Eagles, as being able to practice fully is good news. He only missed the first practice, so Eagles fans should expect him on the field.
Phillips being good to play is massive, as he has been a dominant force on the defensive line to start his tenure as an Eagle in the first two games. He's coming off his first sack in the midnight green uniforms in the Eagles' 16-9 win over the Lions.
While Lampkin and Hinton are not expected to be huge contributors on the Eagles, it will be worth monitoring what the Eagles do with them. Depending on how rushed they are to be on the active roster, it could determine whether that happens with Lane Johnson in the next week or two, with the IR being an option.
