Talk about being battered and bruised. The Philadelphia Eagles will be without four starters and two others for their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams, including DeVonta Smith and Zack Baun.

The Baun and Smith news comes as no surprise, as it was expected with neither guy practicing all week. Several others are either out or will be playing hurt.

Eagles won't have six players, including DeVonta Smith and Zack Baun for Week 4

This felt like a week where a lot of players were going to miss time after the beating they all took in Chicago, as the Bears blew out the Eagles 27-7. Smith and Baun were expected to be out, but it still hurts to see those two gone.

As for who is going to replace each guy, on defense, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. will start at inside linebacker for Baun. Filling in for Smith will probably be Darius Cooper on the outside with Dontayvion Wicks becoming WR1 and Makai Lemon staying in the slot.

Epps is a last-second addition that certainly hurts a position that is already struggling with their performance. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio did not seem like he is going to rush Kenny Moore onto the field since he is learning the safety position for the first time, so it could be either Michael Carter II getting the start or Cooper DeJean moving back there and Carter or Moore in the slot.

Goedert is out for the second straight game with the knee injury and could be another week or two away from returning. Zach Ertz will continue to replace him and looks to be in line for more work in the passing game since Smith and Brown are out at receiver.

Other injury concerns include Carter, who will continue to wear the cast on his fractured wrist and let it heal for the next few weeks with it on. Campbell is also dealing with a knee injury, but should still start.

This injury report is really concerning, as the Eagles are completely banged up going into a tough game against the Rams. It'll be interesting to see how the team responds to what could be the roughest match they have had in a while, with so many players hurt.
