There is never a shortage of reasons to tune in to the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants. This is one of the NFL's most bitter feuds as their clashes with their NFC East rival, the New York Giants are always violent.

2024's return by Saquon Barkley to MetLife Stadium only added more intrigue to an already intense rivalry. He and the Eagles are scheduled for a revenge game. These two teams have matched up 183 times, with Philly holding the edge with 93 victories and the Giants notching 88 games. They have also tied twice.

Let's revisit a classic in 2010 when the Birds enjoyed a 21-point second-half comeback win.  DeSean Jackson further entrenched himself as an Eagles legend that day.

Neither team could get much going early. Then, Eli Manning found Mario Manningham for a 35-yard touchdown to give the Giants a 7-0 lead with 3:46 left in the first quarter.

Philadelphia's first scoring drive of the game was set up by a Quintin Mikell interception. He'd return the ball to the Giants' 45-yard line.

The Birds' offense didn't score a touchdown. The drive stalled after 29 yards were gained. David Akers knocked in a 34-yard field goal to slice the deficit to 7-3 with 13:09 remaining in the first half.

New York would counterpunch on their next possession, cruising 73 yards in eight plays. The drive ended with Eli Manning hitting Mario Manningham for their second touchdown connection. That pushed the lead to 14-3.

The Giants completed the first half with a Lawrence Tynes 25-yard field goal and Manning tossing another TD to extend Big Blue's lead to a commanding 24-3 lead.

It didn't look good for the Eagles, but they built momentum in the third quarter when defensive tackle Mike Patterson recovered Mario Manningham's fumble at the Giants 25-yard line. Philly's offense would capitalize with seven points as Michael Vick engineered a three-play, 25-yard drive that ended with him finding wide receiver Jeremy Maclin for an eight touchdown to slice the deficit to 24-10.

The Birds' defense kept the Giants scoreless in the third quarter. That set up one of the memorable and dramatic endings of this rivalry.

The Eagles deliver a fourth quarter to remember.

Things seemed bleak following DeSean Jackson's 30-yard reception and subsequent fumble when Eli threw his fourth TD pass, this one to tight end Kevin Boss.

Philly continued to fight back. A 65-yard dagger from Vick to tight end Brent Celek cut the score to 31-17 with 7:43 left in the fourth quarter. An onside kick followed. Vick would lead two more scoring drives, rushing for a TD and throwing another to Jeremey Maclin.

It looked like this game was heading to overtime as the Giants ran the clock down to 14 seconds. But, that set the stage for one of the most memorable plays in Eagles history.
