Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni must be one heck of a poker player. Sure, he's emotional and doesn't drink a ton of decaf, but who do you know that keeps his cards closer to the vest? Seriously... We don't have many secrets that we're harboring, but if we had one and intended on carrying it to our graves, we'd only share that secret with Coach Sirianni. He doesn't give anyone anything.

We understand why that's the case. We understand the 'competitive advantage' angle and whatnot, but we understand the journalistic approach (for obvious reasons). You can't avoid asking the necessary questions if you think Coach won't answer it.

On Wednesday, media members got lucky. Coach Sirianni finally shared an update on Jalen Hurts.

Jalen Hurts returns to Eagles practice on Wednesday.

Nick Sirianni is shaking things up ahead of Philly's Wild Card Round game vs. the Green Bay Packers. On Wednesday, rather than practice at the NovaCare Complex, he took his team to Lincoln Financial Field for their workout session.

He hasn't shared much on Jalen Hurts' progress since QB1 entered the NFL's concussion protocol other than to say. "He's progressing". That hasn't stopped media members from asking every time they've seen him.

On Wednesday, we received an update. Jalen Hurts will indeed practice with his teammates at The Linc.

The news is good. It isn't surprising, especially seeing how Philly announced they would waive Ian Book on Tuesday. That gave most an inclination that Hurts was nearing a return, and that's good news.

No disrespect is intended to Kenny Pickett or Tanner McKee, but Jalen gives Philly its best chance at winning. The Eagles will need their best players on the field come Sunday.

The Birds have notched consecutive wins in Hurts' absence. They have also notched an impressive 12-3 record with him in the lineup. Hope springs eternal that the winning ways will continue through Super Bowl Sunday.
