Eagles inactives list for Week 9 game against Jaguars
Another week arrives. Hopefully, another win will be the result. This feels much better than the feeling we had after watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trounce our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. The bye week followed. We heard stories of reconnection and refocusing. Here we sit enjoying a three-game winning streak with another winnable game on the schedule.
The Washington Commanders are playing the New York Giants today. Birds fans have one eye on that game for obvious reasons. Philly and Washington are trying to keep pace with one another.
An early lead in the NFC East's standings is on the line weekly. Let's hope the Jacksonville Jaguars play the role of sacrificial lambs on a day when LeSean McCoy officially enters the Eagles franchise Hall of Fame.
The Eagles announce a roster elevation on Saturday.
After missing a week of practice, Darius Slay and Dallas Goedert were both ruled out of Sunday's game. That was Friday's biggest news update. Philly announced the elevation of a fan favorite from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Week 9's affair.
The Jags are, shall we say, shorthanded. OL Ezra Cleveland, DT Masson Smith, and WR Christian Kirk were all ruled out of this week's game. Seven players were given a 'questionable' designation: RB Tank Digsby, WR Gabe Davis, RB Travis Etienne, OL Brandon Scherff, WR Brian Thomas, RB Kellan Robinson, and d=safety Andrew Wingard.
Sheesh! Talk about injury concerns.
