Wednesday felt like an absolute nightmare for the Philadelphia Eagles and the fan base.
It started with three players being placed on IR, including Nolan Smith Jr., Darius Cooper, and Jakorian Bennett. The day only got worse with Zack Baun (knee), Jihaad Campbell (triceps), and Adoree' Jackson (groin) all non-participants for practice.
That all changed for the better on Thursday, with all three guys who missed on Wednesday back on Thursday. Baun improved from wearing a brace on his knee on Wednesday to wearing a compression sleeve for Thursday's workout. Campbell was wearing a brace on his left arm during practice. Jackson appeared not to be wearing a helmet and stayed in his pre-practice gear.
Another key player, starting left tackle Lane Johnson, was also seen practicing and taking part in workouts on Thursday. Johnson left the Eagles' 33-26 win over the Los Angeles Rams game early in the first quarter with a stinger, but has since stated he expects to play on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Great news for the Eagles that was much needed before Week 4 match with Bucs
There is still a strong possibility that Jackson doesn't play on Sunday as he didn't seem to progress as quickly as Campbell and Baun did to play on the field. It still appears that it's going to be Kelee Ringo getting an opportunity to start and Mac McWilliams could see more snaps on the field.
What a positive development with Baun and Campbell actually practicing. It doesn't 100% mean they will be on the field on Sunday, but they are making the right steps to at least put themselves in a position to play.
Most importantly, Johnson continues to practice. Eagles fans saw how bad it got without him as they dealt with Matt Pryor for about two quarters. Thankfully, Fred Johnson came to save the day with his performance.

Eagles fans are hopeful that Friday will be more of the same, and they can expect at least three or all four injured starters back on the field for the Buccaneers. They will be needed.
