Baldy discusses three prospects at edge rusher who make sense. Meanwhile, James Bradberry tries to revive his career with some former colleagues.

And, just like that, we've reached the one-week warning. The 2025 NFL Draft will be here before you know it. This doubles as one of the most important weekends on the Philadelphia Eagles' offseason calendar.

The selection meeting runs from Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26. Green Bay, Wisconsin provides the backdrop.

If nothing changes between now and Round 1, the Birds will walk into the draft armed with eight picks. They are as follows:

  • Round 1, Pick 32
  • Round 2, Pick 64
  • Round 3, Pick 96
  • Round 4, Pick 134
  • Round 5, Pick 161 (from Texans)
  • Round 5, Pick 164 (from Lions via Browns)
  • Round 5, Pick 165 (from Commanders)
  • Round 5, Pick 168

Adam Schefter recently reported he expects Philly to make a move during the draft, but don't we all? Howie Roseman recently spoke with the media and spent some time discussing his aggressive nature and occasional lack of patience.

If we were betting men and women, we'd wager against Philly's GM sitting still and waiting on his turn for the entirety of this draft.

More Eagles news: Brian Baldinger names Philly's top EDGE draft options.

The consensus is, after free agency, Philly's top needs are at edge rusher and finding depth for the offensive line. It wouldn't hurt to add a couple of DBs and another interior defensive lineman, but rest assured. Howie is on top of all of that.

Brian Baldinger spent his final two NFL seasons with the Birds (1992-93) and now talks about the game for a living. Recently, he was a guest on 94 WIP-FM and shared his thoughts on three edge rushers he believes the Eagles would pounce on with the 32nd selection: Mike Green, Donovan Ezeiruaku, and James Pearce Jr.

Never sleep on Baldy's knowledge of these types of matters. Remember last year when he told us all that the Atlanta Falcons were totally on board with drafting a quarterback in Round 1?

Mike Green figures to hear his name called before Philly is on the clock with the 32nd selection, but one can never tell. We also thought it was impossible that Quinyon Mitchell would be available at 22 last year.

Eagles news: James Bradberry may earn another opportunity.

We end this one on a high note. James Bradberry's tenure in Philly fizzled after a debut that ended with an All-Pro mention, but he's been a great Eagle. His assistance in tutoring Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and many other young Birds has been invaluable.

All things considered, when we look back on his time in Philly, we'll do so fondly. We wish him the best moving forward as he attempts to revive his career. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports he visited the Buffalo Bills about a potential opportunity.

As Fowler states, this is a connection that makes sense. Buffalo's GM Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott were both part of the Panthers organization when Carolina drafted him in 2016. Keep those eyes peeled. We'll let you know if the meeting leads to anything tangible.
