It seems strange to think about this now, but once upon a time, while we all watched an NFL Draft during a pandemic, we were bummed because the Philadelphia Eagles used a second-round selection to take a quarterback who played at Alabama and Oklahoma. Sure, most of us knew Jalen Hurts had game, but there was also the Carson Wentz angle.

As it turns out, leadership was right, and we were wrong. Jalen might turn out to be one of the best decisions Philly ever made.

Cooper DeJean is also a former second-round selection. His acquisition was better received, and he's been as good as advertised. He's trending toward positive territory.

After planting Derrick Henry, Coop has been transformed into a walking GIF. QB1... Well, who doesn't know who Jalen Hurts is? They headline this installment of Eagles news.

Eagles news: EA gives Cooper DeJean an upgrade on Madden.

Some say 'it's just a game'. Others say 'it's in the game'. EA Sports Madden NFL franchise continues to dominate.

There's a documentary on Prime. If you think Madden isn't a big deal, ask the NFL star who thinks his speed rating is too low. Meanwhile, Cooper DeJean was recently given a player upgrade.

Yep. We'll give that tackle much of the credit for that, but based on the circumstances, we couldn't get him up past 80? Okay, how about a 99 awareness rating?

Coop is headed for big things, in real life and on the game. The sky is the limit for Philly's slot corner.

More Eagles news: Bryce Young names Jalen Hurts as one of his top reasons for attending Alabama,

Bryce Young's start in Carolina with the Panthers left much to be desired, especially seeing as how he was drafted ahead of C.J. Stroud.

Bryce was allowed to sit some this season to clear his head. That idea seems to have paid off. He's balling out. So are his Panthers.

Recently, ahead of Week 14's game, he spoke highly of Alabama's quarterback culture and credited his decision to go to Tuscaloosa to guys he looked up to, like Jalen Hurts.

We hear things worked out well for Bryce Young with the Crimson Tide. He was a 2020 College Football Playoff National Champion.

He cleaned up in 2021 as he won the Heisman Trophy and Maxwell Award. He was a Consensus All-American who also won the AP College Football Player of the Year Award, the Sporting News College Football Player of the Year Award, the Davey O’Brien Award, and the Manning Award.

Jalen Hurts matches up vs. Bryce Young in a QB duel this Sunday. Jalen's Eagles host Young's Carolina Panthers.
