Eagles news: Jason Kelce channels his inner-rock star, Vinny Curry says farewell
Thursday Night Football... Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders... First place in the NFC East is on the line. Lincoln Financial Field provides the backdrop. Any of those little nuggets can provide the opportunity for a headline.
Few can trump the adrenaline rushes that can be induced by an Eagles game. We can't think of many who can, but Jason Kelce is always good for a discussion or two.
Eagles news: Jason Kelce, rock star?
There aren't many instances in which we avoid the opportunity to discuss something Jason Kelce is doing. We won't do so today. Guess who channeled his inner-Jimi Hendrix (minus the guitar of course).
We have so much love for so many Eagles. Two have ventured into the realm of becoming Super heroes. Brian Dawkins has long been our 'Weapon X'. Jason Kelce... Well, he's our 'Fat Batman' who, if you haven't noticed, isn't very fat any more.
More Eagles news: Vinny Curry says farewell (for now)
A couple of former Birds returned to the Linc as members of the Washington Commanders (Olamide Zaccheaus, Marcus Mariota). None were more loved than our guy, Zach Ertz.
As you see, he took the field for the coin toss as one of the Commanders' captains. Another Super Bowl hero did the same but for our Birds!
Curry becomes the third 2012 Eagles draftee to call it a career since March. Fletcher Cox and Nick Foles also determined that it was time to hang the cleats up.
There was a lot of good energy in the building for Philly's Week 11 divisional clash. Hopefully, that will spearhead Philly to another victory.
