We're getting old everyone. LeSean McCoy is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame. Guys are retiring, and we remember the day they were drafted. Legends are now analysts. Guys we used to jeer on game days are now calling the broadcasts.

This won't make you feel any younger. Guess what we found out. An Eagles Super Bowl hero has decided to hang the cleats up, and he'll sign a one-day contract to retire as a Bird.

More Eagles news: Vinny Curry will ride off into the sunset.

Vinny Curry was the 59th player taken during the 2012 NFL Draft. He was part of an Eagles draft class that included Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, and Nick Foles.

We know the selection meeting is an inexact science, but Philly got a lot right by taking those four. All would play a role in delivering Philly its first Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Fletch called it a career in March. Foles followed suit by hanging the cleats up in August. Now, it's Vinny's turn. He'll ride off into the sunset this Thursday ahead of the Eagles vs. Washington Commanders clash.

Vinny spent eight seasons with the Birds and appeared in 116 games with 24 starts. Those numbers include the postseason. He stacked 183 tackles and 30 sacks in those 116 games.

The best part is he won a ring here, and that's something no one can ever take from him. He, Mychal, Fletch, and Saint Nick no doubt have tons of stories to eventually tell the grandchildren.
