The Philadelphia Eagles are set to move on from their Week 2 win over the Tennessee Titans and shift their focus to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
This week has been very busy for the Eagles after a quieter stretch. Philly is dealing with plenty of injuries and has to sign players to improve the roster.
With so much already happening after the Titans game, what all happened in the world of Eagles football? Here's a look at the biggest news stories, plus some awards, from Week 2.

Hurts threw two interceptions that really hurt the team, but he came through in the clutch with two of the best touchdowns he has thrown. He connected with DeVonta Smith in the first half that saw him roll out of the pocket to throw on the run in the back of the end zone. Hurts then avoided pressure to connect with Darius Cooper for the game-winning score with nine seconds left to win the game.
Speaking of Cooper, how great was he in the passing game with his two receptions? His impact on special teams as well was good to see with a tackle. Cooper didn't make many plays, but all of them that he did make were impactful.
Epps struggled in coverage and had a horrendous missed tackle on a third-and-22 play late in the game. There's a reason the Eagles signed a safety this week.
It was great to see Nolan Smith Jr. have a great game for the first time in awhile, posting a sack, but getting pressure on Titans quarterback Cam Ward. This season has been a good start for Smith and it could lead to his bounce-back season Eagles fans were hoping he would have.
Lemon has now had three straight games, including the preseason, where he couldn't even get 20 yards receiving. His 14-yard reception was at least some kind of progress, but also had a -5-yard run. He is not making a good first impression on the Eagles.
Kenny Moore signs with Eagles to help secondary
The Eagles signed Kenny Moore to a one-year, $3 million contract to bolster the secondary this season. Moore was previously with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni in Indianapolis, but was also with secondary coach Mike Pellegrino
together in 2017 for a short time with the New England Patriots.
Moore brings plenty of experience and was a Pro Bowler in 2021. He will be playing more nickel and safety with the Eagles, making it clear that Marcus Epps will most likely lose his job.
Dallas Goedert out multiple week with MCL Sprain
Goedert left the Titans game early with a sprained MCL, leading the results to say that he will miss a few weeks. He got his leg caught under some bodies, which caused him to leave the game.
The Eagles only have Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins on the active roster. Rookie second round pick Eli Stowers is on IR with multiple lower leg injuries. That led the team to make this next signing and bring some juice to the tight end room.
Zach Ertz returns home with shot at Eagles history
Ertz is back with the team, as he initially signed to the practice squad. He is expected to be active in Week 3 against the Bears.
During his tenure with the Eagles, Ertz made three Pro Bowls and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the franchise's first Super Bowl win. He is just 11 receptions away from passing Harold Carmichael for the team's all-time receptions record.
Eagles might face Case Keenum in Week 3 with Bears
Bears starting quarterback Caleb Williams injured his hamstring and will not practice this week, so he most likely won't play. Williams has not been ruled out yet, but it's trending n'tthat way.
Tyson Bagent is the backup, but he's hurt now, too. Bagent is in concussion protocol and might miss the Week 3 Eagles game.
Case Keenum is the third string and would start if Williams and Bagent are both out. The last time Keenum played the Eagles in a meaningful game was the 2017 NFC Championship Game, when he was with the Minnesota Vikings, and it led to an Eagles blowout win. We'll see how this goes if he plays.
Eagles release Gabe Hall to Make Room for Zach Ertz
To start making room for the roster moves, the Eagles have released defensive tackle Gabe Hall from the practice squad. Hall has played well in the preseason, but has not appeared in a regular season game. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has praised Hall for his performances in practice.
