Eagles news: Saquon Barkley immortalized again, Philly's new swing tackle

It's official (as if it wasn't already). We're never going to get over Saquon Barkley's reverse hurdle.

Stop us if you have heard this before. Philadelphia Eagles Vice President and General Manager Howie Roseman finds a nice talent for Nick Sirianni's offensive line and does so by raiding an AFC East team. Jeff Stoutland helps take care of the rest. Well, as great as Mekhi Becton's story was, it will continue in Los Angeles with the Chargers. Sometimes, there's nothing like a good re-run though. May this be the beginning of a tale where history repeats itself?

Philly has again signed a veteran offensive lineman looking for a fresh start. Again, the deal is for one year. Again, an AFC East team throws the Birds an alley-oop pass.

Eagles news: Philly signs Kendall Lamm.

Again, Howie Roseman fills a hole left by a departed free agent with a hungry veteran looking for redemption. Kendall Lamm, an undrafted free agent added by the Houston Texans after the 2015 NFL Draft, has seen five locker rooms during his NFL career.

His most recent stop was with the Miami Dolphins (2022-24). Help us welcome him to Philly.

The expectation is he'll be the backup swing tackle Fred Johnson used to be for this offense.

Interesting... The Miami Dolphins have been good to the Birds as of late. It's hard to imagine Lamm having Vic Fangio-level impact, but hey you never know. After all, Kendall has to make the roster first.

There's a lot of talent here though. It should be interesting to see what Jeff Stoutland can pull out of him.

More Eagles news: Saquon Barkley now graces the hallways of NFL Films.

There's nothing quite like NFL Films. We've now lost track of how often we've watched the Mic'd Up presentation of Super Bowl 59. It never gets old, nor does viewing Saquon Barkley's reverse hurdle.

Have you heard? The latter now has its home in the hallways of NFL Films' home in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey.

It's funny how Saquon spent so much time with the Giants but will never be remembered as one. Oh well. That's their problem. Year two in Philly is loading, and we can't wait to see the reigning Offensive Player of the Year back on the field with his teammates again.
