Maybe we're spoiled. We just want to see action all of the time, and left the table feeling hungry on Friday night. After seeing the Philadelphia Eagles select Jihaad Campbell in Round 1 and Andrew Mukuba in Round 2, we felt the night ended with a thud as the Birds traded back twice and ultimately out of the third round altogether.

Yeah... We know.. We know... Howie Roseman has earned our trust and can do pretty much whatever he wants. We just wanted to see another game-changer added. Well, we got our wish albeit 15 spots after the 96th overall selection where they were originally slated to make a selection.

Eagles add Ty Robinson in Round 4.

Here's a name we didn't necessarily have on our draft cards in Round 4. Honestly, we had given him a third-round grade. Ty Robinson is Philly's fourth-round selection. How in the heck did the Birds trade back twice and still land this guy?

Howie and company are teaching a masterclass!

Robinson stands at six-foot-six and tips the scales at 310 pounds. How on Earth does anyone that bug run a 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds?

Anyway, there are other fish to fry seeing as how Ty won't be asked to run 40 yards downfield very often. This gives Philly another interior defender who can get to the opposing QB and stuff the run with relatively equal proficiency.

Robinson collected 37 tackles and seven sacks in 2024 en route to Third-Team All-Big Ten honors. Had he played for Michigan, Oregon, or Ohio State. we're probably grading him as a seconb-round talent.

Credit Philly for scouting the player and not the helmet here. This is as good an interior defensive lineman as you can find on Day 3 of any draft. No, that isn't true. This is a better prospect than you'd expect to see at this juncture. He's a former collegiate teammate (2019-2021). They now reunite in the City of Brotherly Love.

Robinson wore a single-digit number during his final two seasons at Nebraska. Nebraska's head coach, Matt Rhule, only gives those to his toughest players. It's a tradition he started during his time at Temple.

Philly positioned themselves perfectly with two trades in Round 3, and they hit another home run, their third of the selection meeting. This guy is going to be good for a long time.
