One of the bigger stories of Week 9's win, next to Nick Sirianni's continued questionable thinking, was the concern centering around A.J. Brown. The Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver limped off of the playing surface and into the locker room before being demoted from 'questionable to return' to being ruled out of the game.
Philly won, but obviously everyone is concerned about Number 11. Though we know injuries occur, no one wants to see them. Plus, every time we begin discussing 'knees', we tend to get nervous.
DPT Edwin Porras gave us a diagnosis shortly after the game. It appears he was spot on (and Philly got lucky).
AJ Brown knee

Best guess based on angle = left MCL (despite knee being relatively bent)
Best case: returns next week + minimal concern
Median: 2-3 weeks (think DK Metcalf)
Worst case: 4-6 weeks if severe
Tried to return but couldn’t = could miss time#FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/o2Z80epAaU
A.J. Brown's recent injury isn't believed to be serious.
If you're a football nerd like we are, chances are you woke up early to see if there were any updates. Our buddy Jordan Schultz provided one early on Monday.
A.J. Brown will have an MRI later today to determine the full extent of his injury, but the #Eagles believe they’ve avoided anything serious — which is great news for Jalen Hurts and a red-hot Philly offense. https://t.co/wawrh3FWad

Whew! That was close!
We've seen what the Eagles offense looks like minus AJ Brown, and it certainly isn't pretty. As has been the case for quite some time, all hands will be needed on deck when the Birds tackle the Dallas Cowboys.
Dak Prescott left their most recent game with a hamstring injury. Dallas lost to the Atlanta Falcons by a 27-21 margin. We'll see what his prognosis is for next week. If he can't go, Philly gets its crack at their rivals with Cooper Rush at the helm of the offense in Arlington. Philly last won there in 2017.
