There aren't many great dynamic head coach-quarterback duos in the NFL that are better than the Philadelphia Eagles' Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts.
Sirianni is more of a fiery character who isn't afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeve. Hurts is the calmer leader who leads by example.
Both are great examples of leadership in their own ways, which is why they have been successful since being paired together in 2021. What also makes them great is that they are always on the same page regarding the best way to lead the franchise, both on and off the field.
The message that everyone in Philly is following in 2025 that has Hurts praising Sirianni
After practice on Sunday, Hurts spoke with the media about the three-word message the team is following in the 2025 season and its importance.
"Contributions over credit."
"It doesn't matter how it gets done, it's just about getting it done.. Nick's been doing a good job of getting us to be all-in on that.. It's about getting the win no matter how it looks."

That praise from Hurts and being bought in is exactly why Sirianni complimented his quarterback earlier in the day in front of the media.
"I think selflessness helps people grow closer together, and I really have talked about that at length with Jalen. Jalen was highly efficient as a quarterback last year and won a lot of games, but I think that there's a lot of talk where, ‘Oh, he didn't throw for this many touchdowns or this many yards.’ Well, he was super efficient and he won a lot of games. I always admire how selfless he is in those moments and those situations because all he cares about is winning. When you see the selflessness of another person, that brings you closer together as well. All those things are why any relationship continues to grow, but all those things are why Jalen and I's relationship continues to grow.”

“I think we've always had a really good relationship. It's just like any relationship where the more time you spend with each other, the better. The more you put into that… pic.twitter.com/G9BsWt0UXM
Sirianni and Hurts are a combined 46-20 in the regular season when Hurts is the starting quarterback. The two are also 6-3 in the postseason, including two trips to the Super Bowl and winning one together.
It may not always be the prettiest way to do it or the best, but Hurts and Sirianni have proven to be winners. A big reason for that is the culture Sirianni has built over the last four years and his quarterback being the perfect person to make that culture stays intact no matter what happens.
Over the last few years, multiple headlines have emerged about this team that could have jeopardized its progress, from Sirianni's interactions with Eagles fans to Hurts and A.J. Brown's strained relationship. That has never demolished what the team was focused on: winning games.
Sirianni and Hurts have been the glue for the franchise, keeping the ship from sinking. They deserve much more credit than the criticism they continuously get in the media.

That doesn't matter to them, though, because they are winning and that's all that matters.
