In the latest unofficial depth chart for the Philadelphia Eagles, there are three positions that don't have a clear starter. That doesn't mean Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni will reveal who will start at each position anytime before the Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

So far, the positions battles going on are at inside linebacker. CB2, and safety. While speaking to the media before Sunday's practice, Sirianni would not say much about any of them.

"I think it's unsettled to the outside world," Sirianni said via The Athletic's Zach Berman. "We got it pretty much settled in here. ...I'm just not sharing that information quite yet."

Also in the same press conference, Sirianni spoke about cornerback Adoree' Jackson and how he has played. Sirianni gave Jackson high compliments for his ability to create tight coverage against receivers.

"He's always in the hip pocket of guys and close to the catch point. I also think he has a good knack for the football...He has the ability to shadow receivers, and we'll need that this week against a really good receiver corps."

Is Jackson in line to be the starter at CB2 for the Eagles?

During training camp, Kelee Ringo and Jackson were fighting for that starting cornerback job to work opposite Quinyon Mitchell. That battle has since evolved into a competition between Jackson and Jakorian Bennett.

During Sunday's practice, Jackson was seen working out with the starters on defense. This seems like an almost clear indication that he will he starting at cornerback.

It would make sense for Jackson to be the starter after starting 82 games in eight NFL seasons and having been with the team all offseason and camp. Bennett's lack of experience in Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's scheme was always going to be a disadvantage for him.

There are those in the Eagles' media who believe that Bennett could eventually be the starter once he gets comfortable. Jackson has a chance to hold on to the job, starting with the Cowboys matchup.

The CB2 job is going to be a continuous conversation for at least the first month of the season. Even though no one was able to run with the job during training camp, somebody has to own the job between Jackson and Bennett, or Eagles general manager Howie Roseman will be making some calls for a corner.
