Top Eagles storylines for SNF matchup with Commanders

Who will the Eagles have on offense?

Each week, it feels like there is a certain level of mystery as to who the Eagles are going to have on offense with the laundry list of injuries they have. Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and Dontayvion Wicks all missed Wednesday's practice (which was an estimate since it was a walkthrough). This Eagles team already has three running backs on IR, so things are starting to get thin on depth at the skill positions.

Can the Eagles' edge rushers get pressure on Jayden Daniels?

Philly is coming off a game against the Cowboys where they got zero sacks and quarterback hits in the game. The Eagles are about to face a team that has a mobile quarterback in Daniels who can really hurt defenses with his legs. This is one that Philly's defense needs to be ready for, but must get some kind of pressure on Daniels throughout the game.

Philly's secondary must step up and play better against Washington

Riq Woolen and Cooper DeJean are coming off bad games against the Cowboys, especially Woolen, who surrendered 117 yards and a touchdown. DeJean also allowed a touchdown, leaving some big questions about the corners.

Philly's safeties are not playing much better either with Andrew Mukuba, Kenny Moore, and Marcus Epps all struggling. From missed tackles to broken coverages, someone has to step up to the plate and play better for this team.

Will this Eagles offensive line hold up in pass protection against the Commanders?

Dickerson's return to the lineup helped the running game, but Tanner McKee faced heavy pressure, as Dickerson allowed four sacks. Philly's offensive line needs to come back stronger after struggling in pass protection. If the Commanders can get pressure on McKee, that will make for a very long night for the Eagles.
