The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a rough 17-point loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7, but they were not the only ones who had kind of a bad week on the field.
Many former Eagles players struggled on the field, either with their performance or the team's. Even a few had injuries they are trying to recover from and get back out there as soon as they can.
We take a look at how some of the Eagles' former players are doing after Week 7 and recap what happened. This past week was not as strong of a week for the former players, but still some shining moments.
- Reed Blankenship misses first game as Texan in Week 7
- Jaelan Phillips hit with injury bug again with Panthers
- Nakobe Dean shines with interception despite Raiders blowout loss
- Jahan Dotson's quiet day in Falcons upset win over the 49ers
- Alex Singleton with monster day in tackles for Broncos
Reed Blankenship misses first game as Texan in Week 7
Blankenship missed the Houston Texans' Week 7 loss to the New York Giants while dealing with a concussion he sustained against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. During the week, a hand injury Houston added to the injury report was ruled out. His status for their next game is up in the air.
Jaelan Phillips hit with injury bug again with Panthers
Phillips also missed Week 7 with a hamstring injury. The Panthers play the Green Bay Packers Thursday night, but he was listed as questionable. He has racked up 2.5 sacks for Carolina this season.
Nakobe Dean shines with interception despite Raiders blowout loss
Dean got off to a red-hot start creating, turnovers in the first three games as the Raiders went 3-0. In the three games after that, Dean was getting a ton of tackles, but they didn't translate into wins for Las Vegas.
The good news is that Dean broke his three-game skid without creating a turnover, as he intercepted Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. Despite that great play, it didn't lead to a win for the Raiders, as they lost their fourth straight game.
Jahan Dotson's quiet day in Falcons upset win over the 49ers
Dotson was on a roll, posting over 50 receiving yards in two straight games before the Week 8 showdown with the San Francisco 49ers. Atlanta pulled off a massive upset win, but he caught only one pass for six yards.
For the year, Dotson has caught 12 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. He's still on pace to outdo his Philly numbers, but his Philly numbers seem to have lost momentum for now.
Alex Singleton with monster day in tackles for Broncos
Eagles fans might remember Alex Singleton and how he emerged as a potential star in his first three NFL seasons. Singleton has spent the last five years with the Denver Broncos, but this season could be special for him.

Denver's Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals showed that he had an NFL-high 19 tackles and added a sack. He leads the NFL with 87 tackles and 43 solo tackles. Good for Singleton, given how he has been playing.
